About modification of the Order of the Government No. 903/2014 about approval of the Regulations on transportation of pupils

Based on Item b) article 5 of the Law No. 131/2007 on traffic safety (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2015, No. 11 – 21, the Art. 6), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Order of the Government No. 903/2014 about approval of the Regulations on transportation of pupils (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2014, No. 333 – 338, Art. 971), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1) in Item 2 of the resolution the text "The Ministry of Education, cultures and researches" shall be replaced with words "Ministry of Education and Research";

2) in the Provision:

a) state item 4 in the following edition:

4. Pupils are transported by the buses or minibuses belonging, being under authority or use of local industry authorities in the field of education, bodies of local public authority or educational institution (further – school buses), either buses or minibuses of the carrier agent having the license

in the respective sphere, based on the agreement according to Item 12.

Transportation of pupils from the settlement of accommodation and from transit settlements in educational institutions and back on the distances exceeding 2 km is performed free of charge.

As starting points for calculation of distance are considered: the place of landing in the settlement of accommodation of the pupil or in the transit settlement and the place of disembarkation (educational institution in which he studies).";

b) in the subitem 1) of Item 6 the text "The Ministries of Education, culture and researches" shall be replaced with words "Ministries of Education and Research";

c) in Item 12 of the word "or body of local public authority" to replace with the text", body of local public authority or educational institution";
