About mobilization preparation and mobilization in Turkmenistan

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following concepts are used:

mobilization preparation - the complex of the nation-wide events held in peace time, including advance preparation of state governing bodies and local government bodies (further - state bodies), the companies, organizations, the organizations, Armed Forces and other troops, the population and the territory of Turkmenistan for the purpose of protection of the state against armed attack and ensuring smooth operation of economy of the state during mobilization and in wartime;

mobilization - complex of the nation-wide actions connected with transfer of state bodies, companies, organizations, organizations, Armed Forces and other troops, the populations, the territories and economies of Turkmenistan on the mode of warlike situation (general mobilization) or their any part (partial mobilization).

Article 2. The legislation in the field of mobilization preparation and mobilization

The legislation of Turkmenistan in the field of mobilization preparation and mobilization is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan, Basic provisions of the military doctrine of Turkmenistan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan.

Article 3. Basic principles of mobilization preparation and mobilization

The basic principles of mobilization preparation and mobilization are:

1) obligation of carrying out mobilization preparation;
