About entering of the amendments and changes into some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan directed to enhancement of the legal basis of activities for fight against crime

In the republic the complete system of law on protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, safety of the personality, society and state, prevention of offenses and fight against crime is created.
The performed reforms in the country on ensuring rule of law set new tasks for law enforcement agencies and are directed to creation of the strong legal basis for acceptance of operational and effective solutions by them on accomplishment of the tasks assigned to them.
This Law makes additions and changes to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About operational search activities", providing refining of procedure of such investigation and search operations as targeting of references, operational implementation, transaction under cover, and also strengthening of the legal basis of fight against crime in the field of information technologies, determination of possibility of conducting investigation and search operations using information and communication technologies, including in cyberspace and (or) with use of its opportunities.
At the same time the change providing refining of the rights of law-enforcement bodies on non-paid use of opportunities of mass media for the purpose of establishment of circumstances of crimes, establishment and search of persons who committed crimes and also search of persons evading from serving sentence or missing persons is made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About law-enforcement bodies".
Besides, the addition establishing possibility of implementation of operational search activities in the special facility intended for acceptance and content of persons subjected to administrative detention is made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About procedure for serving of administrative detention".
