At the same time further acceleration of development of steady tourism requires elimination of the factors which are negatively influencing tourist attractiveness of the country.
The analysis of judicial and investigative practice showed disproportion of the established measures of criminal liability for making of illegal import, and also sale, acquisition, storage or use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan to nature and degree of public danger of these acts that was in turn the reason of increase in reasonable objections of citizens, including tourists.
This Law to the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility makes the corresponding changes and additions providing mitigation of measures of criminal liability for making of illegal import, sale, acquisition, storage or use of unmanned aerial vehicles by introduction of other types of the punishments which are not connected with imprisonment establishment of the administrative responsibility concerning persons which for the first time made these offenses and also the possibility of release of person from the administrative responsibility is provided, in case of voluntary surrender of unmanned aerial vehicles, component parts and spare parts to them.
This Law will serve ensuring more reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, and also strengthening of image of the republic on the international scene.
