Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. The relations regulated by this Law

This Law governs the public relations in the field of burial and funeral case in the Kyrgyz Republic and establishes the legal basis of funeral case in the Kyrgyz Republic, guarantee of implementation of burial taking into account wishes of relatives and according to the declaration of will of the dead expressed to them during lifetime, the guaranteed list of services in burial, allowance payment on burial, and also health and ecological requirements to placement, operation and content of places of burial, basis of the organization of funeral case in the Kyrgyz Republic as independent type of activity.

Article 2. Basic concepts and terms

In this Law the following basic concepts and terms are used:

1) biological objects - bodies and tissues of the person, abortirovanny or mortinatus fruits of the person which are formed as a result of medical activities;

2) declaration of will of the dead - the wish expressed in oral (in the presence of witnesses) or written form to be buried in this or that place, on these or those customs and traditions, near these or those earlier died persons, about consent or disagreement to be subjected to pathoanatomical opening, about consent or disagreement to removal of organs and (or) fabrics from its remains, on trust to perform the last declaration of will to this or that person, at the same time this wish shall be notarially certified;

3) coffin - special box for burial (transportation) of bodies of the dead;

4) load 200 - the symbol applied in transit body of the dead (dead) to the place of burial if it is in other city or other country;

5) person performing burial of the dead - the spouse (spouse), close relatives according to the civil legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic or the other person who undertook obligation to perform burial of the dead;
