About hunting and protection of hunting fund

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Field of regulation and purpose of the law

(1) This law establishes the legal basis of sustainable development, protection, preserving and rational use of hunting fauna, and also the right of physical persons to conducting hunting.

(2) the Purpose of this law is regulation of the relations in the field of management and administration of national hunting fund and providing:

a) protection, reproduction and preserving hunting fauna, and also its habitats;

b) implementations of the principles of sustainable development of national hunting fund;

c) rational use of hunting fauna for the purpose of preserving biodiversity and environmental protection;

d) protection of the rights and interests of hunters, owners/managing directors of the parcels of land and managing directors of hunting funds.

(3) the Individuals of types of wild fauna containing in zoos, the individuals used in the art purposes and also the individuals containing in nurseries for hunting animals whose products are intended for consumption do not fall under action of provisions of this law.

Article 2. Basic concepts

For the purposes of this law the following concepts mean:

the administrator – the body of the central public management given authority on environmental protection and providing administration of national hunting fund. The Ministry of the environment acts as the administrator;

administration of national hunting fund – activities for development of the public program documents concerning the organization, planning and realization of the purposes in area of game management and also for ensuring monitoring and control of activities in the field regarding observance of provisions of agreements of use;

site class of hunting fund – capability of hunting fund to reproduce population of types of hunting fauna depending on conditions of feeding, the shelter and rest;

the agreement of use – the legal act by which the administrator reports separate hunting fund to use;
