In recent years the quantity of earthquakes with serious consequences which make serious impact on life of the population and social and economic infrastructure of the countries in this connection within continuous improvement of the sphere of ensuring seismic safety are important ensuring seismic stability existing and buildings under construction and constructions, strengthening of interaction of state bodies and organizations for forecasting and monitoring, and also preparation for earthquakes increased in the world.

For the purpose of implementation of modern approaches in the field of ensuring seismic safety, further increase in seismic stability of buildings and constructions, development of new forecasting methods of strong earthquakes and creation of modern system of preparation for them:

1. Since June 1, 2024:

in seismoactive zones with intensity of 8 points and above on MSK-64 scale when planning new constructions to adjust practice of designing of objects of medicine it is higher than 5 floors also of buildings higher than 9 floors with devices of active seismic protection, including seismoisolation and damper;

determine that financing of works on installation of active seismoprotection devices is performed by the organizations customers responsible for construction works.

Determine the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services (B. Zakirov), the Chairman of the board of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent responsible for ensuring complete and unconditional execution of this Item.

2. Since July 1, 2024:

determine that on the new objects III-IV of categories of factor of danger planned to construction installation of the device on automatic monitoring of the bearing structures of buildings and constructions is obligatory;

implement procedure for monitoring by means of maintaining the single database, the bearing structures of buildings and constructions received from devices of automatic monitoring.
