In our country large-scale work on development and implementation of the advanced scientific and technical achievements and innovations in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry taking into account international standards is carried out.
For the purpose of creation of additional terms for producers of medicines this Law makes change to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About medicines and pharmaceutical activities", providing cancellation of procedure for state registration of medicinal substances (substances). At the same time the changes assigning to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan powers according to procedure for reference of medicines to category of the medicines provided according to the recipe and without recipe and also information on the medicines provided without recipe or according to the recipe of the doctor introducing the requirement for specifying in instructions on their medical application and in the State register of the medicines, products of medical appointment and medical equipment allowed for use in medical practice are made to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About protection of public health" and "About medicines and pharmaceutical activities".
Besides, for the purpose of expansion of production volumes of import-substituting chemical products the change granting to legal entities the right to production and production of some precursors determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the List IV based on the corresponding licenses is made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About drugs and psychotropic substances".
