The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations connected with conflict of interest.
Operation of this Law extends to state bodies and public authorities on places, public institutions, the state unitary enterprises, the state trust funds, and also on joint-stock companies from shares of the state in their authorized fund (authorized capital) in the amount of 50 percent and more (further - state bodies or other organizations).
Operation of this Law in the relation:
legal entities with cumulative share of state bodies or other organizations in their authorized fund (authorized capital) in the amount of 50 percent and more;
legal entities with cumulative share of the organizations specified in the paragraph the second to part three of this Article in their authorized fund (authorized capital) in the amount of 50 percent and more, extends only to the relations performed by them in the field of public procurements.
The legislation on conflict of interest consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
The laws regulating conducting pre-judicial production on criminal cases, and also the relations arising when conducting judicial proceedings can be established other rules of settlement of the relations connected with conflict of interest.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about conflict of interest then are applied rules of the international treaty.
