About restructuring of some bodies of public management and modification of some orders of the Government

Based on Item b) article 7 of the Law No. 136/2017 on the Government (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, No. 252, the Art. 412), with subsequent changes, parts (9) article 10 of the Law No. 98/2012 on the central branch public management (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2012, No. 160 – 164, the Art. 537), with subsequent changes, and Resolutions of Parliament No. 29/2023 on approval of the list of the ministries (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, No. 49 – 52, the Art. 87), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. Rename the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2. Transfer to the State office functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the field of process of the European integration, document packages on coordinating of process of accession and the document packages about cooperation with the European Union connected with the areas provided in the Agreement on association between the Republic of Moldova, on the one hand, both the European Union and European Atomic Energy Community and their state members, on the other hand, ratified by the Law No. 112/2014, except for of function of conducting political dialogue and dialogue on safety issues, and to appoint her the legal successor of the rights and obligations connected with the transferred functions and document packages.

3. Recall from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the State office for accomplishment of office tasks of Bureau on the European integration of the government employees holding diplomatic positions according to the Law No. 158/2008 on the state position and the status of the government employee.

4. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

To provide 1) to the Ministry of Finance of the offer on redistribution for benefit of the State office of the budgetary appropriations approved by the Law No. 418/2023 on the government budget for 2024, for covering of salary expenditures of the sent employees;
