About pensions for special merits in front of Ukraine

This Law provides establishment for separate categories of citizens for making of outstanding heroic act or outstanding labor achievement in certain period of the additional social benefits in the form of the additional or increased money payments, privileges or compensations for satisfaction of separate requirements.

The additional social benefits are established on permanent basis or for certain period within the means provided by the Government budget of Ukraine. The additional social benefits in the form of pension for special merits in front of Ukraine are established on permanent basis.

Article 1.

Pension for special merits in front of Ukraine (further - pension for special merits) is established to the following citizens of Ukraine:

1) to the Heroes of Ukraine, persons who are awarded the order Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan, four and more awards of Ukraine after declaration of independence of Ukraine, to persons which are marked out by honorary title of Ukraine "national" after declaration of independence of Ukraine;

2) to veterans of war who after declaration of independence of Ukraine are awarded the order for personal courage (personal deposit), revealed in protection of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine;

3) to outstanding winner athletes of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, World games of deafs, champions and world record-holders and Europe;

4) to the astronauts who made flight in space, to members of flight-test crews of airplanes;

5) to persons which are marked out by the honorary title of Ukraine "deserved", the State prize of Ukraine awarded with one of awards of Ukraine;

6) to the mothers who gave birth to five or more children and brought up them to six-year age. If in case of the death of mother or deprivation of its parent rights education of children to the specified age was performed by the father, the pension entitlement for special merits is granted to the father. At the same time the children adopted in the procedure established by the law are considered;
