Article 1

Bring in part the fourth the Civil code of the Russian Federation (The Russian Federation Code, 2006, No. 52, Art. 5496; 2014, No. 11, Art. 1100; 2015, No. 48, Art. 6708; 2017, No. 47, Art. 6845; 2019, No. 30, Art. 4132; 2022, No. 22, Art. 3536) following changes:

1) in Article 1243:

a) add with Item 4.1 of the following content:

"4.1. Payment to authors and other owners of remuneration for use of objects of copyright and related rights can be made by transfer of the funds for the nominal account which are due to owners according to the procedure, stipulated in Article 1243.1 of this Code, in the following cases:

1) the author or other owner of object of the author's or related rights is supposed the unknown (Item 1 of Article 1244. 2);

2) the owner agreed in writing the organizations for management of the rights on collective basis to transfer of the funds for the nominal account which are due to it.";

b) add Item 5 with paragraphs of the following content:

"The author or other owner has the right to demand correction of the unreliable information containing in public information system. The refusal of the organization for management of the rights on collective basis from correction of information can be disputed judicially.
