About modification of article 23 of the Law on the size, procedure and payment due dates of fees of compulsory medical insurance No. 1593/2002

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In article 23 of the Law on the size, procedure and payment due dates of fees of compulsory medical insurance No. 1593/2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 18-19, 57), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes.

in part (4) words "subitems a) and d) Item 1" shall be replaced with words "the subitem d) Item 1";

add Article with part (5) the following content:

"(5) Owners of lands of agricultural purpose, except kitchen gardens and the parcels of land for truck farming irrespective of, they told or did not lease these lands or in use based on the agreement which at the same time belong to the categories of the unemployed persons insured by the Government or which provided stay confirmation abroad more than 183 calendar days within fiscal year, do not pay insurance premiums of compulsory medical insurance in fixed amount.".

Art. II. – (1) This law becomes effective from the date of its publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

(2) to the Government in 30-day time from the date of entry into force of this law to bring the regulations into accord with its provisions.
