About acceleration of measures for reforming of the hydroenergy sphere

For the purpose of stable providing with energy resources the population and industries of economy, reducing consumption of natural gas in case of production of electrical energy, and also effective use of capacity of the hydroenergy sphere:

1. Agree with offers of the Department of Energy, the Ministry of investments, the industry and trade and JSC Uzbekgidroenergo (further - Society) about bringing until the end of total 2028 of capacity of hydroelectric power stations to 5508 MW, including construction of total pumped storage power plants capacity of 1600 MW.

2. Approve the Program of measures for further development of the hydroenergy sphere for 2024 - 2028 (further - the Program) providing:

The list of the investment projects of construction of total hydroelectric power stations realized by JSC Uzbekgidroenergo capacity of 1018 MW according to appendix No. 1 *;

"Road map" on projects implementation of construction of total hydroelectric power stations capacity of 449 MW with attraction of foreign secured loans of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2024 according to appendix No. 1a *;

The list of summary investment projects capacity of 2275 MW implemented with participation of private investors in the hydroenergy sphere according to appendix No. 2*.

3. Form the Republican commission on development of the hydroenergy sphere (further - the Republican commission) in structure according to appendix No. 3*.
