About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the administrative-territorial device of the Kyrgyz Republic"

Article 1.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the administrative-territorial device of the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2008, No. 4, the Art. 347) the following changes:

1) in Article 1:

a) in paragraph four of the word "settlements of city type" to exclude;

b) in paragraph seven of the word "settlements and/or" to exclude;

c) in paragraph eight of the word "and also settlement of city type" to exclude;

d) in paragraph nine of the word "ailny district" shall be replaced with words "the ayylny aimag";

e) the tenth to declare the paragraph invalid;

e) in paragraph eleven in official language of the word "ait (village)" to replace with the word "ayyl";

Article 4 to state 2) in the following edition:

"Article 4. Administrative and territorial unit

The administrative and territorial unit consists of the territories of one or several settlements and other not populated territories within which public authorities or local self-government exercise public administration or self-government.

For the purpose of determination of space limits, competences of relevant organs of the government and local self-government for each administrative and territorial unit are established the name, borders and the administrative center.

The territories of the cities of republican value for the purpose of the optimum organization of execution of the decisions connected with satisfaction welfare and household needs of citizens, protection of law and order and respecting the rule of law if necessary are divided into the areas which are not independent administrative and territorial units.";

3) in part three of Article 5 of the word"," to exclude settlements of city type;

4) in Article 6:

a) part the fifth to recognize invalid;
