About amendment of the Law on drugs No. 1409/1997 Article 19-1
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – Chapter IV of the Law on drugs No. 1409/1997 (1998, Art. No. 52-53 368), with subsequent changes, to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with Article 19-1 of the following content:
"Article 19-1. Special conditions for turnover of the drugs containing anabolic and androgenic steroids
Import, production, distribution, sale, writing out and leave of the drugs containing anabolic and androgenic steroids except for of the international unlicensed names which list and quantity annually affirms the Ministry of Health is forbidden and it is bought by means of the procedure of open auction.".
Art. II. – (1) This law becomes effective from the date of its publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
(2) to the Government in six-months time from the date of publication of this law to bring the regulations into accord with it.
