About introduction of amendments to the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses and some other laws of Ukraine concerning strengthening of responsibility for small stealing of alien property and settlement of some other questions of activities of law enforcement agencies
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Bring in the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122) the following changes:
1. "The offenses provided" to add the note to article 22 after words with words and figures "parts three and the fourth Article 51".
2. In part four of Article 38 of the word "and also the offenses provided" shall be replaced with words also in figures "and also offenses, stipulated in Article 51 and".
3. State Article 51 in the following edition:
"Article 51. Small stealing of alien property
Small stealing of alien property by theft, fraud, assignment or waste if the cost of such property at the time of making of offense does not exceed 0,5 of free minimum of the income of citizens, -
attracts imposing of penalty from fifty to hundred free minima income of citizens or social jobs for a period of twenty till thirty o'clock, or administrative detention for a period of up to five days.
The action provided by part one of this Article if the cost of such property at the time of making of offense constitutes up to two free minima of the income of citizens from 0,5, -
attracts imposing of penalty from hundred to three hundred free minima income of citizens or social jobs for a period of thirty till forty o'clock, or corrective works for a period of up to one month with assignment of twenty percent of earnings, or administrative detention for a period of five up to ten days.
Making of the violations, repeated within year, provided by part one or the second this Article for which person was already subjected to administrative punishment, -
