About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning ensuring implementation of burial of some categories of persons at the National military memorial cemetery

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Charter of garrison and guard services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About the Charter of garrison and guard services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 22-23, of Art. 196 with the following changes):

1) in preamble:

third after the words "Services of Foreign Intelligence of Ukraine" to add part with words of "prospecting body of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine";

add with part five of the following content:

"Charter provisions regarding procedure for holding military funeral ritual extend to police officers who protected independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine";

Article 81 to state 2) in the following edition:

"81. The military funeral ritual is procedure of solemn paying of military honors during burial and reburial of the died (died) military personnel and other persons determined by the law.

The military funeral ritual is held in case of burial and reburial of the died (dead):

a) military personnel and police officers who protected independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine;

b) the military personnel of obligations of military service (service) during execution of them;

c) the combatants determined by the paragraph the second Item 2, Items 19-25 of part one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection";

d) persons with disability owing to war determined by Items 1, 11-16 parts two of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection";
