In recent years in our country the measures directed to increase in overall performance of the trade-union organizations, to ensuring protection of the rights of their members and also development of the legal base regulating activities of the trade-union organizations are realized.
At the same time in practice there are problems with opening of bank accounts by the divisions of labor unions and primary trade-union organizations which do not have the status of the legal entity as receipt of identification taxpayer number for this purpose is required.
This Law makes the addition in the Tax code of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing assignment of identification taxpayer number to the divisions of labor unions and primary trade-union organizations which do not have the status of the legal entity.
Besides, the additions providing possibility of registration in judicial authorities of divisions of the labor unions and primary trade-union organizations which do not have the status of the legal entity and determination of this procedure by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About labor unions".
This Law will serve ensuring full implementation of financial activities by divisions of labor unions and primary trade-union organizations, not having the status of the legal entity.
Article 1. Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 6, 2019 No. ZRU-588 "About labor unions" (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2019, No. 12, Art. 882; 2021, appendix to No. 4; 2022, No. 5, Art. 464; 2023, 11, the Art. 923) to add No. with parts eight and the ninth the following content:
