About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the prevention of violence in family"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the prevention of violence in family" of March 19, 2013 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2013, No. 3, the Art. 197) the following changes and amendments:

1. To state preamble of the Law in the following edition:

"This Law governs the public relations connected with the prevention of violence in family.".

2. In Article 1:

- the first and fourth to state paragraphs in the following edition:

"-violence in family - intentional illegal action or threat of making of act of physical, mental, economic and sexual nature, and also scornful the attitudes of one family member towards other family member breaking or able to violate the rights and freedoms of these persons, degrade their advantage, do physical or moral harm, lead to forced or intentional imprisonment;

- psychological violence in family - threat of physical, sexual, economic abuse, psychological impact, humiliation of honor and advantage of persons jointly living with maintaining general economy to making of offenses or acts which lead to violation of psychological, physical or personal development, violation of the rights and freedoms;".

3. In Article 6:

- the paragraph one after words of "public assistance" to add with words ", including free use of services of the public medical institutions in accordance with the established procedure;";

- add with the paragraph the second the following content:

"-on the appeal to relevant organs behind compensation of the moral and material harm done as a result of making in their relation of violence in family;";

- the fourth after the words "on the address in" to add the paragraph with the words "self-government institutions of settlements and villages and;".
