About additional measures for improvement of tourist infrastructure and further increase in flow of foreign tourists to the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of creation of necessary conditions for comfortable travel due to increase in quantity of new objects of the tourist industry in regions of the country, implementation of modern mechanisms of active promotion of national tourist products in the world market, further expansion of opportunities of internal tourism, the solution of the existing problems of transport logistics, and also attraction of direct investments to the sphere:

1. Establish procedure according to which for the purpose of creation of favorable business environment in the field of tourism and expansion of export of tourist services:

a) since September 1, 2024 Fund of reconstruction and development through commercial banks of the republic the credit line in national currency in the amount of 10 million US dollars on annual rate of 14 percent for providing with current assets the tour operators who are residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan and performing entrance tourist activities for the purpose of involvement of tourists to the republic from foreign countries opens. At the same time:

on the loans granted by commercial banks by fund of reconstruction and development the bank margin in the amount of no more than 3 percent from certain annual interest rate is established;

borrowing facilities are allocated to tour operators for a period of 10 years with two-year grace period (on percent and principal debt);

resources of Fund of reconstruction and development are allocated to commercial banks for a period of 12 years with three-year grace period;

b) till August 1, 2025 the tour operators registered and who obtained the license in the Republic of Karakalpakstan when importing vehicles with high passability and engine displacement of at least 2,4 of liter for the organization of extreme tours according to the procedure of exception are allowed to pay customs duty and utilization collection in the amount of 25 percent from effective rate by installments within 3 years.
