About modification of some regulations (enhancement of management and regulation of the sector of water supply and the sewerage)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on public service of water supply and the sewerage No. 303/2013 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2014, Art. No. 60-65, 123), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 2:

part (to state 3) in the following edition:

"(3) Provisions of this law are applied to the public service of water supply and the sewerage organized at the level of areas, municipiums, the cities, villages/communes or, on circumstances, associations of intercommunitarian development.";

part (to add 4) with the words "and states.";

add Article with part (5) the following content:

"(5) the Public service of water supply and the sewerage falls within the scope of public services of municipal services as they are determined in article 2 of the Law on public services of municipal services No. 1402/2002.".

2. Part (Article 3 to add 4) with the offer: "The requirements concerning issue of permission, construction, registration, control and operation of individual systems of collection and sewage treatment are established by the provision approved by the Government.".

3. In Article 4:

"unboiled water - the water which is taken away from superficial or underground sources which quality at the time of fence corresponds to quality of source;";

after the concept "industrial sewage" to add with concept of the following content:

"operational zone - the geographical territory covering administrative-territorial unit / administrative and territorial units in which the operator has the right to deliver/provide public service of water supply and the sewerage based on agreements/agreements on delegation of management;";
