About modification of some regulations (adjustment of the regulatory base in the field of geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics No. 778/2001 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 29-31, 160), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In all text of the law:

replace the words "control survey" and "control topographical plan" respectively with the words "executive survey" and "executive topographical plan" in the corresponding number and case, and shall be replaced with words the words "body responsible for implementation of policy" and "administrative authority responsible for implementation of policy" "the central administrative authority, the politician, responsible for realization" in the corresponding case.

2. In Article 1:

state the concepts "geodesy", "cartography", "fotogrammetriya", "National Fund of Geospatial Data", "geographical information system GIS (Geographic Information System)" and "geoinformatics (GIS technology, geoinformatics)" of the following edition:

"geodesy - the science which is engaged in determination of form, the sizes and gravitational field of Earth which purpose is the image of the land surface on plans and maps with all existing forms of planimetry and leveling, and also with determination of exact provision of the fixed points on surface and their changes in time, taking into account influence of sphericity of Earth and atmospheric refraction in case of calculation of their provision;

cartography - the science which is engaged in studying of the cartographic projections used in case of the image of the land surface or some sites of this surface on the plan for the purpose of creation, the edition and replication of plans and cards;

fotogrammetriya - the science which is engaged in registration, measurement and the image of objects or phenomena in space and time by means of the images called by photograms;";
