The Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Ministry of Labour, Health and Welfare of Georgia, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine which further are referred to as with "Parties"

expressing aspiration to further strengthening and development of effective cooperation in the field of health care, based on the principles of independence and integrity of health care systems,

expressing aspiration to further strengthening and development of effective cooperation in the field of health care for the purpose of strengthening of the friendly relations between the State Parties of GUUAM,

for the purpose of identification of new forms and directions of cooperation and use of the best practices in the field of health care within GUUAM,

agreed about the following:

Article 1

The parties develop cooperation for the benefit of further enhancement of national health care systems.

Article 2

The parties develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the following spheres of health care and medical science:

* organization of health care and prevention of diseases;

* exchange of operational information on epidemiological situation;

* assistance to the adult and children's population;

* preparation of scientific and medical personnel;

* pharmaceutics and medical equipment;

* joint carrying out scientific developments;

* exchange of information in the field of health care based on the interstate information and analytical system (IIAS) created within GUUAM;

* economy of health care and medical science;

* sanatorium treatment;

* other areas of cooperation which are of mutual interest.

Article 3

Bonds between the organizations cooperating in the field of health care are performed on the basis of direct agreements which shall correspond to legislations of all states and are subject to approval of the Parties.
