About additional measures of support of activities of rice growers

In recent years system work on increase in production of agricultural products and ensuring price stability on food in the republic, and also to implementation of modern technologies to the sphere is carried out.

At the same time the deficit of water growing now and the extending demand for agricultural products promotes emergence of need of broad use of water saving technologies in case of cultivation of water-loving cultures.

For the purpose of implementation of continuous and effective system of cultivation, storage and conversion of rice in the republic, stable providing the domestic consumer market with rice products, and also expansion of research works in the field of:

1. Establish procedure according to which:

a) since September 1, 2024 for financing of costs for cultivation and purchase of rice to farmers, Dehkan farms and other producers of products soft credits on the conditions determined in the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 15, 2021 No. PP-52 "About measures for the state support of the sphere of fruit-and-vegetable growing, further development of system of cluster and cooperation in industry" will be allocated.

At the same time purchase contracts of rice between rice-growing clusters and farms will consist through the information system "Agroplatforma" of the Ministry of Agriculture;

b) in 2025-2026 20 percent of cost of new seed seeders and the equipment of rassadny method of crops which were purchased by agricultural enterprises for crops of rice of issue no more than one year, will be covered due to allocation of subsidies from the Government budget;

c) for the purpose of support of activities of rice-growing agricultural enterprises in the Khorezm region from the Government budget additional subsidies will be allocated to them on:

covering of 100 percent of expenses on the fuels and lubricants used on each hectare of the square on which the laser layout, is made for rice cultivation, but not exceeding 1 million sum of total amount of expenses;
