In recent years in our country within the undertaken administrative reforms the system of public administration in the field of town-planning activities is enhanced, measures for upgrade, the accelerated and innovative development of construction industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan are implemented.
At the same time transformation within administrative reforms of number of republican executive bodies requires entering of corresponding changes into the Town-planning code of the Republic of Uzbekistan for refining in them official names of these bodies, and also enhancement of system of preparation of town-planning documentation of settlements.
This Law to the Town-planning code of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the changes providing refining of the name and powers of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also enhancement of system of preparation of town-planning documentation of settlements by development of the General scheme of the layout of development of the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and schemes of the layout of development of the territories of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and areas.
This Law will serve enhancement of system of public administration in the field of town-planning activities, and also preparation of town-planning documentation according to long-term forecasts of social and economic development of the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
