About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further enhancement of activities of committee on development of the competition and consumer protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In recent years in our country large-scale reforms on development of the competition and fight against monopolies, ensuring consumer protection are performed.

Within deepening of reforms in the field of development of the competition and consumer protection and enhancement of activities of this system changes which specify the name of Committee on development of the competition and consumer protection are made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About regulatory legal acts" and provide approval of drafts of the regulatory legal acts with it concerning provision of government assistance.

Besides, change according to which type of activity of business entity based on which it will concern subjects of natural monopoly is made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the competition" its core activity will be considered.

For the purpose of liberalization of system of punishments the changes providing non-use of measures of responsibility in the form of financial sanctions against the business entities who for the first time made the violation of the law about the competition having low extent of economic impact are made.

This Law will serve providing healthy competitive environment in the goods and financial markets, and also to observance of concept of justice in case of application to business entity of financial sanctions for the violation of the law about the competition having low extent of economic impact.
