About introduction of amendments to the Law on Boundary police No. 283/2011

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on Boundary police No. 283/2011 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2012, Art. No. 76-80, 245), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 5:

in part (1):

Item c) to declare invalid;

add part with Item d) the following content:

"d) specialized divisions of Boundary police.";

in part (the words "in part (1)" shall be replaced with words 3) "Items and) and b) parts (1)";

part (to state 7) in the following edition:

"(7) Structure and number of the divisions specified in Items b) and d) parts (1), affirm the chief Inspektorata under approval of the Minister of Internal Affairs.".

2. Add the law with Article 5-2 of the following content:

"Article 5-2. Specialized divisions of Boundary police

(1) For the purpose of accomplishment of specific powers of Boundary police the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, according to the proposal of the chief Inspektorat, establishes specialized divisions.

(2) Specialized divisions are the units subordinated to the chief Inspektorata without the status of the legal entity with general territorial power.

(3) Regulations on activities of specialized divisions affirm the chief Inspektorata.".

3. In Article 6:

in part (1):

Item b) to state in the following edition:

"b) provides maintenance of the mode of frontier, the mode of border area, and also mode and public order at automobile, air, river, port and railway check points through frontier;";

add part with the Item b 1) of the following content:

"b 1) ensures public and air safety according to the Law on aviation safety No. 192/2019;";

in Item b) parts (3) the words "departmental regulations;" shall be replaced with words "normative administrative acts;".

4. Part (Article 10 to state 1) in the following edition:
