1. This law governs the relations connected with management of the sphere of beekeeping, production of products of beekeeping, establishes the legal basis of activities for cultivation, care of honey bees, to use of these bees for pollination of agricultural entomophillous plants, to product receipt of beekeeping, preserving honey bees and ensuring veterinary servicing in the Republic of Armenia.
1. In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
beekeeping cultivation, care of honey bees, their use for pollination of agricultural entomophillous plants, product receipt and raw materials for beekeeping;
the beekeeper - the physical person or legal entity which is going in for beekeeping;
the bee family family of the honey bees living in one beehive or hollows (nest), consisting of working bees, drones (bees males) and bees mothers;
beehive construction, created by the person for ensuring life activity of bee family;
apiary set of the bee families provided with the stock and accessories necessary for maintaining beekeeping;
the strengthened (stationary) apiary apiary located on the same place all the year round;
agricultural entomophilous plant - the time apiary moved on the territory around acreage;
the ecological apiary apiary meeting the requirements established by authorized body of public administration in the field of agricultural industry (further - authorized body) for production of environmentally friendly products of beekeeping, and certified;
the breeding apiary apiary meeting requirements imposed to breeding apiaries by origin and to characteristics;
bee swarm form of reproduction of bees under natural conditions, the new family formed independently of the main bee family by removal of baby birds;
