In recent years in our country large-scale reforms on fight against crime and the prevention of offenses are undertaken.
Within these reforms positive results on providing peaceful and safe life of the population and forming of culture of public safety are achieved.
At the same time the work which is carried out within these reforms indicates the need of further enhancement of legal mechanisms of prevention and the prevention of offenses, and also instilling in citizens of high legal culture and respect for the law.
This Law makes changes and additions to the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility providing decriminalization of the criminal action connected with the intentional slight injury which did not entail short-term disorder of health or insignificant permanent disability and its transfer in category of administrative offense, and also amendment of this precept of law the new qualifying signs, expansion of circle of the administrative offenses entering into institute of conciliation.
This Law will serve providing peaceful and safe life of the population, improvement of criminogenic country situation and expansion of circle of action of institute of conciliation for cases on administrative offenses.
