About strategic cooperation in the field of transport, logistics and transit between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan

keeping development of the bilateral relations and strengthening of strategic cooperation between two countries,

recognizing importance of strengthening of the bilateral relations in the field of rail, sea and road transport,

believing that improvement of rail, maritime and motor transportations can promote close cooperation between the Parties,

giving support to the railway, sea and haulage logistic contractors representing common interests of the Parties

proceeding from importance of international cooperation and mutual aid concerning transport, logistics and transit of the Parties,

according to the principles of equality and mutual advantage, by friendly consultations,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement is for the Parties the instrument of cooperation increase in the field of rail, sea and road transport.

This agreement does not extend to transportation of the goods relating according to the legislation of the states of the Parties to products double and military.

Article 2

The purpose of this agreement is encouragement of cooperation between the Parties in the following areas:

1) assistance to development of intergovernmental dialogue;

2) attraction of amounts of transportations on the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, including acceptance of joint efforts on creation of favorable tariff conditions, synchronization of development of infrastructure, implementation of digital decisions for exchange of preliminary and other information;

3) further work within the acting working group on transport and logistics;

4) establishment and development of cooperation in the field of rail, sea and road transport for the purpose of ensuring effective and safe cargo transportation;
