The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, of Art. 190 with the following changes) to state Item 6 of article 9 of the Law of Ukraine in the following edition:
"6. For the military personnel captured or hostages, and also interned in the neutral states or missing persons payment of cash cover remains.
The serviceman has the right to constitute in written any form the personal order on case of capture it in captivity or the hostage, internments in the neutral states or losses without message about payment of the cash cover which is due to it to person (persons) at its choice, having determined the size of share of such persons as a percentage (further - the personal order on captivity case).
Procedure for confirmation of authenticity of the signature of the serviceman on the personal order on case of captivity, registration and storage of such order and its cancellation stipulated in Item 4 articles 16 of this Law are performed according to the procedure.
In case of lack of the personal order on captivity case cash cover is paid to the wife (husband), legal representatives of juvenile (minor) children, children from among persons with disability since the childhood (irrespective of age) or to their legal representatives and parents of the military personnel (except those from specified persons who receive from the serviceman the alimony, and also the parents deprived of the parent rights provided that these rights were not recovered). To such persons equal shares pay part of cash cover that in total amount does not exceed 50 percent of the cash cover determined after implementation of the assignments established by the law.
