In the country the large-scale work directed to radical enhancement of the institutional and legal basis of ensuring reliable protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children from oppressions and violence in family is carried out.
At the same time today in the law-enforcement practice connected with ensuring reliable protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of children there is number of problems. In particular, responsibility for making of administrative offenses and criminal actions in the form of spousal (household) assault concerning children is not established.
This Law makes changes to the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility providing responsibility for spousal (household) assault concerning children. Also the changes determining that the statement for conciliation on the cases connected with spousal (household) assault can be submitted only at stage of legal proceedings are made to the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This Law will serve improvement of the moral circle in families, the prevention of oppression and violence in family against children, and also improvement of line item of the country in the international indexes connected with providing the rights of children.
