In recent years in the country system work on preserving and protection of the earth and subsoil, and also ensuring rational and target use of the parcels of land is carried out.
At the same time for the purpose of suppression of mining without the permission, in particular illegal production of precious metals and gemstones there is need of strengthening of responsibility for making of these acts.
This Law to the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the additions providing criminal liability for illegal mining committed repeatedly after application of administrative punishment for the same actions, and also for prospecting mining without the permission.
Besides, the changes providing investment of law-enforcement bodies with necessary powers on creation of the administrative report in the relation of the persons who made offenses, connected with unauthorized capture of the parcels of land, implementation of construction works on self-willedally taken parcels of land and also violation of procedure for provision of lands are made to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility.
This Law will serve ensuring compliance with the legislation on preserving and protection of lands and subsoil, and also effective prevention of offenses in the field.
