In recent years in the country consecutive reforms on development of small business, full support of activities of small business entities and investment attraction in this direction are performed.
The legislation regulating activities of special economic, small industrial, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones is created, the mechanism of coordination of activities of directorates of special economic zones and single directorates on management of youth industrial zones by decentralization of administrative functions, expansion of their powers is simplified.
At the same time the impossibility of full use by directorates of special economic zones of the created conditions in regulation of activities of special economic zones, allocation of the parcels of land through electronic online auction, implementation of investment projects negatively affects efficiency of their activities. Moreover, creation of additional terms for the investors who expressed desire to perform activities in the territory of special economic zones requires automation of processes of their cooperation with directorates of special economic zones and state bodies.
This Law to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About special economic zones" makes the changes and additions providing abolition of administrative boards of special economic zones with assignment of their tasks on directorate of special economic zones.
