About modification and amendments in the Law of Turkmenistan "About diplomatic service"

I. Bring in the Law of Turkmenistan "About diplomatic service" of August 29, 2013 (Sheets of Majlis of Turkmenistan, 2013, No. 3, Art. 56; 2016, No. 4, Art. 167; 2018, No. 4, Art. 102; 2021, No. 1, Art. 23) following changes and amendments:

The word "persons" shall be replaced with words 1) in contents of Article 51 "citizens of Turkmenistan";

To add 2) in article 6 part two after Items 11 and 14 respectively with Items:

"11-1) first secretary-consul";

"14-1) attaches consuls";

3) in part four of article 7 after the word", the consul" to add with the word", the vice consul";

Part one of Article 9 to add 4) with the paragraph of the following content:

"Work term in the international employee organizations of diplomatic service specified in Item 2 of this part is estimated according to regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan and supplemented by the work period on diplomatic service.";

Article 11-1 to state 5) in the following edition:

"Article 11-1. Temporarily chargê d'affaires

Temporarily the chargê d'affaires – the employee of diplomatic service working in diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan abroad, representations of Turkmenistan under the international organizations to whom in absence period of the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary execution of its obligations is temporarily assigned.

Assignment of obligations and release from them is performed according to the order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The notification of the state of stay on such assignment of obligations and release from them shall be made without delay".

II. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
