About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About protection of cultural heritage" concerning providing equal conditions of participation of public associations in protection of cultural heritage
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About protection of cultural heritage" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 39, Art. 333 with the following changes) the following changes:
1. To state paragraph two of Article 10 in the following edition:
"activities of public associations, research, project organizations, organizations and companies of different patterns of ownership for protection of cultural heritage".
2. In Article 11:
in the name and part one of the word "public organizations" in all cases shall be replaced with words "public associations" in the corresponding case;
the second to state part in the following edition:
"Public associations to which authorized tasks questions of protection of cultural heritage belong promote attraction of general population to participation in protection of cultural heritage, exercise public control over its preserving, use, preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, museumification and repair".
3. In the Item of part one of Article 14 of the word of "The Ukrainian society of protection of historical and cultural monuments, other public organizations" shall be replaced with words "public associations".
4. In paragraph three of part one of Article 35 of the word of "public organizations" shall be replaced with words "public associations".
II. Final provisions
1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.
2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this Law:
bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;
provide reduction by the ministries, other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
