Article 1

Bring in the Federal Law of May 19, 1995 No. 80-FZ "About perpetuating of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 - 1945" (The Russian Federation Code, 1995, No. 21, of the Art. 1928) change, having added with its Article 5.2 of the following content:

"Article 5.2. The pieces of music and other works connected with events or the period of the Great Patriotic War

For the purpose of preserving historical memory of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War the Government of the Russian Federation can create the public list legally of the pieces of music promulgated till December 26, 1991 (with the text or without text) and other works glorifying feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, heroism, courage, friendship, unity, fighting brotherhood of defenders of the Fatherland and (or) otherwise connected with events or the period of the Great Patriotic War. Forming of the specified list is performed with the assistance of the organizations for management of the rights on collective basis according to the procedure, established by the Government of the Russian Federation. Authors or other owners, the all-Russian public associations have the right to represent offers on inclusion of such pieces of music and other works to the specified list.
