This Law determines legal, organizational and economic basis of social entrepreneurship, is aimed at providing the state guarantees of protection, the state support and expansion of activities of the subjects of social entrepreneurship arising during its realization.

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) social entrepreneurship – the business activity directed to support of socially vulnerable segments of the population and performed according to this Law for delivery of goods, performance of works and rendering services of social appointment;

2) the social company – the legal entity performing activities in the field of social entrepreneurship, included in the register of subjects of social entrepreneurship according to the procedure, established by this Law;

3) the social entrepreneur – the individual entrepreneur included in the register of subjects of social entrepreneurship according to the procedure, established by this Law;

4) the register of subjects of social entrepreneurship – the single database about the social companies and social entrepreneurs which maintaining performs authorized state body on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs;

5) socially vulnerable national groups – the persons which are in difficult life situation, experiencing difficulties in social adaptation and needing the help;

6) the social project – method of support of the independent social business activity realized by subjects of social entrepreneurship;
