About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About free legal aid" concerning extension of the list of persons having the right to free secondary legal aid

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About free legal aid" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2011, No. 51, Art. 577 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. In Article 14:

Part one to add 1) with Item 30 of the following content:

"30) the races which were injured from criminal offenses because of hatred on signs, skin colors, political, religious and other convictions, floor, disability, ethnic and social origin, property status, the residence, on language signs - on the legal services provided by Items 2 and 3 of part two of article 13 of this Law in the criminal proceedings begun upon making of such criminal offenses";

To replace 2) in part four of figure "29" with figures "30".

2. In part one of article 19 of figure "29" to replace with figures "30".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective in one year from the date of the termination or cancellation of the warlike situation in Ukraine imposed by the Presidential decree of Ukraine "About introduction of martial law in Ukraine" of February 24, 2022 No. 64/2022, the approved Law of Ukraine "About approval of the Presidential decree of Ukraine "About introduction of warlike situation in Ukraine" of February 24, 2022 No. 2102-IX.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three-months time from the date of, the publication of this Law following behind day to provide reduction by the ministries, other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
