About marking of separate types of tinned products means of identification

According to item 4 of article 7 of the Agreement on marking of goods means of identification in the Eurasian Economic Union of February 2, 2018 Council of the Eurasian economic commission DECIDED:

1. State members of the Eurasian Economic Union (further – state members) independently determine Date of Introduction and procedure for marking by means of identification (further – marking) separate types of tinned products in the territory according to this Decision and notify the Eurasian economic commission (further – the Commission) on such date not later than 6 months before its approach.

At the same time ban on turnover of unmarked tinned products cannot be imposed before the terms specified in the inventory, which are subject to marking by means of identification approved by this Decision (further – the list).

2. Determine that:

tinned products (further – goods) – the food products placed in leak-proof consumer package and subjected to sterilization or pasteurization to or after the room in such consumer packaging or the finished food products placed in the leak-proof consumer package which earlier took place stages of sterilization or pasteurization for observance of specifications of conservation to the room in it such products;

the goods included in the inventory, subject to marking by means of identification, approved by this Decision are subject to marking (further – the list);

marking of goods is performed by the means of identification corresponding to the characteristics approved by this Decision;

need of marking of remaining balance of the goods included in the list, and stay terms for turnover of unmarked goods are determined by the legislation of state member;

goods which net weight constitutes 30 grams and less and baby food for children till 1 year are not subject to marking;

state members for the purpose of ensuring functioning of information system of marking of goods determine national operators (administrators) of national components of information system of marking of goods;
