About introduction of amendments to the Code of the Republic of Moldova o offenses No. 218/2008 (assignment of punishment in the form of the prevention)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 78-84, 100), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Item b) Article 26 to declare invalid.

2. Recognize Article 28 invalid.

3. Part (Article 33 to state 3) in the following edition:

the sanction of part (6) after the word "attracts" to add with the words "prevention or";

the sanction of part (8) after the word "attracts" to add with the words "prevention or".

6. In Article 229:

in the name of Article of the word of "technical inspection" shall be replaced with words "periodic technical inspection";

the sanction of part (1) after the word "attracts" to add with the words "prevention or";

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) Vehicle control, not registered in accordance with the established procedure,

attracts the prevention or imposing of penalty in the amount of 9 to 12 conventional units.";
