Eurasian social charter of Eurasian economic community, being regulatory legal act of Community, it is aimed at providing to the people of state members of EurAsEC civil and the political right and freedoms provided by the Agreement on deepening of integration in economic and humanitarian areas of March 29, 1996 and other documents existing within EurAsEC.
Realization of provisions of the Charter assumes implementation of the social rights without any discrimination.
International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of 1966,
Charter of the European community about the basic social rights of workers of 1989,
Code of social security of 1990,
Charter of the social rights and guarantees of citizens of the independent states of 1994,
the tripartite Declaration of the principles concerning multinational corporations and social policy, the accepted ILO in 1977
conventions and recommendations of the ILO.
State members of EurAsEC realize the approved social policy based on the principles:
- economic human freedom, its right to the free choice of any kind of activities in the field of wage labor and entrepreneurship;
- trust to the regulating market role;
- cost efficiency of social market economy;
- social justice and social solidarity of society;
- availability and free of charge education on competitive basis;
- equal rights of citizens on receipt of general and professional education;
- participations of all citizens in management of the public and public affairs, and also participations of workers in production management and developments of system of social partnership.
The specified principles are provided by development of stock ownership of workers, tax income redistribution from the rich to the poor, bigger load of the most able-bodied members of society to help disabled.
The Eurasian social charter assumes implementation of the approved social and economic policy within Community by means of all due means of both national, and interstate nature, creation of the conditions providing effective implementation of the following rights:
