The reforms realized in our country in recent years on digitalization of judicial activities gave opportunity to liberalization of the appeal of citizens to courts on protection of the rights and interests, increases in level of achievement of justice, and also ensuring openness and transparency of activity of the courts in general.
As a result such services as filing of application, remote participation in case, receipt of court resolutions and receipt of the data on hearing of cases are performed electronically through the portal of interactive services of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the same time today there is need of enhancement of the procedural legislation by creation of the legal basis of use of system of mobile video conferencing on the judicial sessions held in the video conferencing mode.
This Law makes changes and additions to the Code of civil procedure, the Economic Procedure Code and the Code about administrative legal proceedings of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing creation of the legal basis of remote participation of the population in legal proceedings.
This Law will serve further increase in the access level of citizens to justice, ensuring reliable protection of the violated rights and freedoms, and also legitimate interests of citizens.
