About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with enhancement of system of counteraction to economic crimes

In recent years in our country the large-scale reforms directed to protection of interests of the personality, society and state against criminal encroachments, enhancement of activities of investigating bodies on the basis of the principle of ensuring rule of law and inevitability of punishment for deeds, ensuring stability of financial system of the republic are performed.
As logical continuation of the performed reforms in this direction, additional tasks in the field of ensuring prevention of violations of the budget legislation, timely disclosure, comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of economic crimes are assigned to Department on fight against economic crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In turn, it creates need of reflection of tasks and powers of Department on fight against economic crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan in current laws.
This Law to the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About anti-corruption" makes the changes and additions providing refining of powers of Department on fight against economic crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan on production of the investigation of criminal cases.
Besides, the changes providing assignment of powers of bodies of the State financial control of the Ministry of Economics and finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Inspectorate of the state financial control of Department for fight against economic crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan are made to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility and the Budget code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
