In recent years in our country the large-scale reforms directed to radical increase in role of institute are undertaken waved in society.
At the same time there is need of further enhancement of procedure for the organization and elections of chairmen of descents of citizens, and also strengthenings of the guarantees of activities chosen instead of the disposed chairmen of descents of citizens.
This Law to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About self-government institutions of citizens" and "About elections of the chairman of descent of citizens" makes the changes and additions providing prolongation of term of office of the chairman of descents of citizens from three to five years, election of chairmen of descents of citizens on vacant positions for a period of five years, and also refining of powers of the commissions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the areas and the city of Tashkent rendering assistance in the organization and elections of chairmen of descents of citizens.
This Law will serve the effective organization of activities of chairmen of descents of citizens and work of the commissions rendering assistance in the organization and elections of chairmen of descents of citizens.
