Regulations on military transport obligation

I. General provisions

1. The military transport obligation is established for timely, high-quality and in full providing during mobilization and in wartime by vehicles of Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic, other stipulated by the legislation military forming, and also created by relevant organ of the executive authority of special state bodies and in wartime of special forming (further - special forming).

The rules established by this Provision are applied during mobilization preparation, mobilization and in wartime.

2. The legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic on military transport obligation consists of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, this provision and other regulatory legal acts.

3. "Military transport means" in this Provision are understood as the rail, water, air, pipeline, road, animal and pack transport, motorcycles, tractors, transport, other machines and mechanisms provided for use in construction, forest and agricultural industry, other works.

4. The military transport obligation is component of mobilization preparation and mobilization and consists in holding the actions connected with provision of vehicles to Armed Forces of the Azerbaijan Republic, other stipulated by the legislation paramilitary groups and special forming and also in ensuring technical operability of these vehicles.
