The purpose of this Law is strengthening of role of political parties in updating and further democratization of public administration and upgrade of the country.
This Law is the basis for introduction of the relevant amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also changes and amendments in the current legislation.
Fraction of political party - the deputy consolidation created by the deputies pushed from political party, for the purpose of expression of its interests in Legislative house of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and registered in accordance with the established procedure.
The fraction of political party which received the majority of places in Legislative house of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan constitutes parliamentary majority.
Also several fractions of the political parties creating the block proceeding from proximity or coincidence of the program target tasks can constitute parliamentary majority.
The fractions of political parties which are not dividing rate and the program of again created government or its separate directions can announce themselves oppositional.
Merging of fractions of political parties in the block does not limit their independence in implementation of the rights provided by the law.
The fraction of political party which declared itself opposition in Parliament along with the powers provided by the law for fractions has the following rights:
