Agreement on creation of the Single system of technical cover of the railroads of state members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization

The State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by provisions of Articles of organization of the Agreement on collective security (further - the Organization), Agreements on collective security of May 15, 1992 and other documents accepted in its development

proceeding from need of acceptance of further practical measures on ensuring comprehensive preparation of the railroads of the Parties for steady and smooth functioning and implementation of transportation of loads for needs of economy, to ensuring military and humanitarian transportations, decrease in efficiency of impact of the expected opponent on the railroads and objects of rail transport, to recovery in the shortest possible time of the interrupted train service in peace and wartime,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties create single system of technical cover of the main (priority) railway directions on network of the railroads of state members of the Organization and confirm intention to accelerate process of rapprochement of national legal systems of the Parties for the purpose of creation of conditions of equal responsibility and equal opportunities of the Parties concerning creation of single system of technical cover and rail line restoration.
