About additional measures for the organization of analytical and research activities

For the purpose of the effective organization of execution of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 31, 2024 No. PP-467 "About measures of the effective organization of activities for strategic analysis and carrying out researches in the directions of social, political and economic development of the country" and creations of additional terms for implementation of analytical and research activities in the country:

1. Create Fund of support of researches (further - Fund) under Coordination council on strategic planning and development in case of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - Coordination council) without the status of the separate legal entity.

2. Determine that fund is accumulated on separately open accounts in Fund of reconstruction and developments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is spent according to the procedure, established by Coordination council.

3. Determine that:

a) sources of forming of fund are:

lump non-paid sum payment of Fund of reconstruction and development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the amount of 25 million US dollars;

grants and sponsor's means of the international, foreign and domestic organizations;

the income arriving from placement of temporarily available funds of Fund on deposits in commercial banks;

other sources which are not prohibited by acts of the legislation;

b) fund is allocated on:

implementation of researches on activities of Coordination council;

allocation of grants for preparation of analytical materials and carrying out researches;

remuneration payment implementation to the domestic and foreign physical persons and legal entities rendering expert, research and other services;

financing of activities of the temporary project teams created in the direction of the analysis and researches;

holding social polls and researches on studying of public opinion;

training of analysts and specialists and increase in their qualification;

preparation and acquisition of editions, literatures, databases and results of researches, and also subscription to them;
